Higher Taste

The 'higher taste' is often very elusive. Yet it seemed so obvious to Srila Prabhupada that whether it be the tongue, nose, skin, ear or eyes, all sensation comes from Krishna. He would quote frequently from the first verse of the Srimad Bhagavatam, the part that says, "Janmady asya yatah" which is also the second verse of the Vedanta Sutra. In this regard he would often quote the part of the Gita (10.8) that says, Aham sarvasya prabhavah or "I am the origin of everything."
