Thought For the Day:
Thought For the Day

Lord Narayan holds in his Lotus palms the padma and sanka to signal
blessings (and happiness) and victory, and in His other two hands He
holds the gada and cakra that symbolize rejection of demonism. During
his stay on earth he used all these symbols to show his multifaceted,
inconceivable ways. He was an expert diplomat, knowing exactly when to
be kind and when to kill. His attempt to make peace with the Kuru
dynasty and His subsequent behavior on the battlefield show this.
