Many are working actively for a "better world." Translation: "a better material world." This may be possible, but birth, death, old age and disease will always be a part of this material world.

There is a popular saying that "absence makes the heart grow fonder." While vipralambha (worship in separation) is considered superior to sambhoga, association with devotees is essential for advancement, so say Rupa Goswami and other great acaryas. "The emotion technically called vipralambha-bhava, which the Lord adopted for confidential reasons, should not be disturbed in the name of service." (CC Adi 4.41/purport)

Srila Prabhupada once said the dreams of the spiritual master were true, and that other dreams were usually concoctions.

In the summer of 1967, when Srila Prabhupada walked on Stinson Beach, California, he would remark about the sand fleas and ever-present living beings as he poked the ground with his walking stick, watching the small insects fly up from below.

One can be constantly reminded about Krsna with pictures, just as someone at work is reminded about their family through photographs on their desk.

Srila Prabhupada has advised us to always engage all the passive senses (seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, tasting) with Krsna consciousness.

One of the similarities between the very young and the very old is instability and difficulty in walking.

Seasons

The seasons, referred to in the book by His Holiness Tamal Krsna Goswami, “Light of the Bhagawat,” always occur with regularity, bringing with them expected changes in weather. This is more evidence to establish the precision with which Krsna works.
